Welcome to the first installment of our employee spotlight! Today you’ll get to meet one of our Regional Owners, Joanna Curbeloyero. She works out of our Joelton, Tennessee office alongside her husband Ariel.

Could you explain how you got involved with Fine Designs?

I quit my job working at a Natural Pet Food company as the Executive assistant because our morals and views did not align. I reached out to a friend who was local to the area (Jacksonville Florida, where I got out of the Navy) and he knew the event manager in the Florida office (Thomas Hensler) whom got me an interview with Bogdan and voila here I am.

Wow, you were in the Navy! When did you join?

Joined: September 14, 2000
Ended: April 19, 2010

What is your biggest achievement to date?

I’d have to say brewing my daughter now (I’m due 4/24/18), but I am very proud of my of my military service also.

Describe a challenge you encountered in life that has shaped you into the person you are now.

At the crucial age of 13, I moved with my mother and stepfather to the US from England leaving all my other family behind. It was a MASSIVE change. Undoubtedly this along with my Military training shaped me into the type of person I am today along with a few special people.

What is on your wish list for your next five years here at Fine Designs?

Growth, patience.

What advice would you give to recent new entrants?

Be patient. It doesn’t get easier you just get better at dealing with it.

What is your motto or personal mantra?

This too shall pass…
