Chartered in 1978, the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) serves to organize, stimulate, encourage and promote the academic, athletic, and fine arts programs in an effort to foster a spirit of fair play, good fellowship, true sportsmanship and wholesome competition for the students in its member high schools.
TAPPS began with only 20 schools in 1978 (12 of which are still members), and now has grown to a membership of 226 schools, serving over 38,000 high school students, and is among the 20 largest associations of its kind(including both public and private school organizations) in the United States. TAPPS is the only private school association to be recognized as an affiliate member of the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS).
This summer, TAPPS has nominated Fine Designs Imprinted Sportswear as the "Official Souvenir Merchandiser of TAPPS". Fine Designs is proud to host the TAPPS online store where students, coaches, parents, and fans can purchase apparel merchandise from TAPPS events.
